Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon has previously stated on multiple occasions that the results of this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be released next Monday (July 20). Following his recent announcements at various public events, the Ministry of Education directed the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee to finalize all processing tasks, and preparation units are reportedly working at full capacity. However, committee officials have stopped short of confirming whether Monday will indeed be the definitive publication date.

Speaking to The Daily Campus, several senior officials of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee noted:

"We have received official directives to compile and ready the SSC and equivalent results. The publication is highly likely to take place on July 20 or around that window. We are centering our operational timeline entirely around the July 20 target."

Statutory Timeline and Candidate Statistics

Traditionally, the results of the SSC and equivalent examinations are officially published within 60 days of the conclusion of the written tests. This year, the theoretical evaluations commenced on April 21. The written examinations under the general education boards wrapped up on May 20, while the Dakhil (Madrasah) and SSC Vocational written evaluations concluded on May 24.

A total of 1,857,344 candidates registered for the public examinations across the country this year. Among them:

  • SSC (General Boards): 1,418,398 candidates

  • Dakhil: 304,286 candidates

  • SSC & Dakhil Vocational: 134,660 candidates

When asked about the current status of the processing cycle, Professor Syed Akteruzzaman, Chairman of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, told The Daily Campus:

"The evaluation processing for the results is moving forward steadily. We are operating in strict accordance with the government's executive directives and are putting in every effort to ensure that the final result metrics can be delivered within the designated timeframe."
