The Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) has issued an urgent directive to verify the background, documents, and credentials of the 14,384 candidates primarily selected for the position of Assistant Teacher under the 2025 recruitment cycle.
A notification signed by Irene Parveen, Assistant Director (Recruitment) of the Policy and Operations Division of the DPE, was released today, Sunday (May 10).
According to the directive, the 14,384 selected candidates must undergo a thorough police investigation to verify their previous activities and background. Simultaneously, all academic certificates, quotas, and other supporting documents submitted during the application process will be scrutinized for authenticity.
The notification emphasizes that the final appointment process will only proceed once the verification reports are satisfactorily completed. Relevant authorities at the district and upazila levels have been requested to take the necessary measures to expedite this process.
The Assistant Teacher Recruitment-2025 aims to fill essential vacancies in government primary schools across the country. Following the publication of the primary selection list, this verification phase is a mandatory step to ensure the integrity of the recruitment process under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.
Candidates have been advised to remain reachable and cooperate with the investigating authorities as required. Any discrepancy or falsification found during the document verification or police investigation will result in the immediate cancellation of the candidate's selection and potential legal action.
