The ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations for the current year are in progress. Today, Tuesday (April 28), the English 2nd Paper examination was held on the fourth day of the exams. According to the pre-determined schedule, this year's SSC exams will continue until May 20.
As per the instructions of the Ministry of Education and the respective education boards, the examinations are being conducted under strict supervision to ensure a fair environment.

A total of 1,857,344 students are participating in the examinations this year under 11 education boards across the country. Among the candidates, 930,305 are male and 927,039 are female students. Students from 30,666 educational institutions are appearing for the exams at 3,885 centers nationwide.
