The evaluation of OMR sheets for the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) examination—held to recruit over 11,000 principals, vice-principals, headmasters, assistant headmasters, supers, and assistant supers in private schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical institutions—has officially commenced. This evaluation process is being conducted with the assistance of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
Sources from the Ministry of Education and the Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) informed The Daily Campus that although the initial decision was to evaluate the OMR sheets through NTRCA, a meeting held yesterday (Sunday) finalized the decision to involve BUET. The scanning of OMR sheets began this Monday afternoon. Subject to the approval of the Education Minister, the results for the institutional head and assistant head positions are likely to be published this coming Wednesday.
When asked about the matter, NTRCA Chairman Md. Aminul Islam told The Daily Campus, "There is already a tentative schedule for publishing the results of the MCQ exam for institutional head recruitment. If everything remains on track and the Education Minister grants permission, the results will be released on Wednesday."
The recruitment examination for institutional heads and assistant heads took place last Saturday across nine centers in the capital. A total of 53,069 candidates had applied to participate in this four-shift examination.
