Educational Institutions to Remain Closed for Three Consecutive Days
All primary, secondary, and higher secondary level educational institutions across the country will observe a three-day holiday starting from Sunday (12 April) to Tuesday (14 April).
According to the annual academic calendar, the holidays have been declared for:
- 12 April — Boisabi Festival
- 13 April — Chaitra Sankranti
- 14 April — Pohela Boishakh
Classes and all official activities will remain suspended during this period. Normal academic activities will resume on Wednesday (15 April).
Several educational institutions in Dhaka and other parts of the country have already issued notices confirming the holidays. The notices state that all academic and administrative activities, including classes in school and college branches, will remain closed on these three days.
With the weekly holidays on Friday and Saturday (10–11 April), educational institutions including schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical institutes will remain closed for a total of five consecutive days.
