JUCSU AGS Meghla vows swift solution to Bot Tola washroom issue

Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) discussed establishing a washroom at the busy Bot Tola area during its first executive meeting, with Assistant General Secretary (Women) Ayesha Siddika Meghla assuring swift action.

In a Facebook post, Meghla shared, “A washroom at Bot Tola is a pressing need. We discussed this in our first executive meeting. Proposals include building a women’s washroom near the shops from Bhasani Chattar toward Bhasani Hall, adjacent to Salam-Barkat Hall’s mosque. We’re considering these.”

Despite facing various challenges, she noted progress: “We’re tackling issues and working on it. We’ve received positive responses on funding. It will be implemented soon.”
