DUCSU Chief Returning Officer's Son Passes Away

The son of Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) Chief Returning Officer Professor Dr. Mohammad Zashim Uddin has passed away. Innallilahi wa inna ilaihi rajioon.
He died while undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital in the capital on Saturday. The DUCSU election was held on September 9.
DU Proctor's Assistant Professor Saifuddin Ahmed confirmed the news to The Daily Campus around 10:00 AM, saying, “Professor Zashim Uddin's son passed away in the ICU this morning. We have come to Giasuddin residential area mosque for his janaza prayer. The body will then be taken to the village.”
Earlier, student Imamul Hasan posted the news on the Facebook group "Dhaka University Student Union-2," writing, “Professor Zashim Uddin sir's son had been in ICU for the past month. He passed away this morning. Innallilahi wa inna ilaihi rajioon. His janaza will be held at 10:00 AM at Giasuddin residential area mosque.”
