DU VC Niaz Visits Nur, Meghmallar, and Nazmul in Hospital
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan visited three individuals under treatment at a hospital on Wednesday night: former DUCSU VP Nurul Haque Nur, general secretary (GS) candidate for the upcoming Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) election Meghmallar Basu, and student Nazmul Hasan.
The visit was confirmed by Forrukh Mahmud, Deputy Director of the university’s Public Relations Office, through a press release.
Accompanying the Vice-Chancellor were Associate Professor Saifuddin Ahmed, Proctor of Dhaka University, and Professor Dr. Md. Faruk Shah, Provost of Shahid Sergeant Zahurul Haque Hall. During the visit, Professor Khan inquired about the health conditions of Nur, Basu, and Hasan, engaging in discussions with their doctors and family members. He also expressed his wishes for their swift recovery.
The gesture underscores the university administration’s commitment to supporting its students and alumni during challenging times, particularly as the DUCSU election approaches on September 9.
