NCP Leader and Former DU Rokeya Hall VP Candidate Rafia Sultana Rafi Passes Away

Rafia Sultana Rafi, senior joint convener of National Citizen Party (NCP) Bogura district and a former student of Dhaka University, has passed away.
She breathed her last on Wednesday night (8 April) while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka.
Rafia was a candidate for the Vice-President (VP) post in the 2019 Rokeya Hall Students’ Union election under the Nur-Rashed-Faruk panel. She also actively participated in the 2024 anti-fascist student-people’s mass uprising. She later became active in NCP politics.
She is survived by two young children.
Her funeral prayer (Janaza) will be held today, Thursday (9 April), after Asr at her father’s house in Atbaria Pirgacha, Gabtali, Bogura.
