DUCSU Allocates Tk 25 Lakh to 25 Leaders (Excluding VP, GS, AGS) for Programs
Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) has allocated Tk 1 lakh each to 25 of its leaders (excluding Vice-President, General Secretary, and Assistant General Secretary), totaling Tk 25 lakh. The funds are intended for organizing programs and activities under their respective responsibilities.
The allocation was announced in a notification signed by DUCSU Treasurer and Finance Department Chairman Professor H.M. Mosharraf Hossain. It states that, following a decision at the executive meeting on 17 November, the 12 secretaries and 13 executive members (excluding the top three posts) will each receive Tk 1 lakh.
The notification reads: “You are requested to withdraw your allocated budget and organize programs accordingly.” The notice was issued on 5 February.
DUCSU member Md Shahinur Rahman said: “We have not yet received the allocated funds. All our activities so far have been managed through sponsors. With the money from the administration, we plan to organize several cultural programs.”
