Freshmen Glory 2025 concludes with grand finale at Dhaka University

The Spartans’ Communication Club of Dhaka University’s Faculty of Business Studies has successfully wrapped up “MIDAS Financing PLC presents Freshmen Glory 2025”, a premier inter-university business competition that showcased intellect, creativity and teamwork among freshmen.

The event began with a solo assignment round, followed by a workshop on November 24 led by Towsif-Ur-Rahman, Compliance Coordinator at Field Nation, USA, and a former champion.

The second round, a focus group discussion with randomly formed teams, was held on November 27, advancing top performers to the finale.
On December 5, six teams competed in the grand final at Management FBS Club Limited, presenting proposals before a panel of industry experts.

The winners were:

Champions: Team Bizlytics
Runners-up: Banana Logic Committee
Second runners-up: Team Stardust

The judges, all alumni of Spartans’ Communication Club, included Nabanita Islam (Assistant Product Manager, Yamaha at ACI Motors), Ziad Al Noman Pranto (Brand Manager, Unilever Bangladesh), MD Istiaz Uddin (Finance Executive, IPDC Finance PLC), and Towfiq Ahmed (Brand Manager, Marico Bangladesh Ltd).

Chief guests Tanvir Hasan, FCA (Deputy Managing Director, MIDAS Financing PLC) and Nuruzzaman Al Amin (Senior Manager, MIDAS Financing PLC) shared valuable industry insights with participants.
Sponsored by MIDAS Financing PLC, which also boosted the prize pool to a record high, the event featured digital media partners InfoGram and Markedium, media partner The Daily Campus, print and online media partner The Business Standard, and youth engagement partner TBS Graduates.

The competition highlighted the dedication of Spartans’ Communication Club members in upholding the club’s tradition of excellence.
