Sponsored by University Press Limited (UPL), the program focused on the theme “The Rule of Law, Transparency, & Accountability.”

The event brought together around 50 students from universities across Bangladesh, alongside participants from India, Nepal, and Bhutan. Over five days, attendees engaged in academic sessions, legal research workshops, and discussions with prominent jurists and academics.

Architect Mahbuba Haque, Chairperson of UAP’s Board of Trustees, stated that the Spring School encourages students to think beyond academics, embrace diversity, and act as agents of justice and transparency.

Professor Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, UAP Vice-Chancellor, highlighted that the program aligns with UAP’s mission to nurture socially responsible graduates through ethics, leadership, and teamwork.

The Spring School began on August 17 with Dr. Sharif Bhuiyan, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court, as Chief Guest. The closing ceremony featured distinguished guests, including Dr. M. Alauddin and Engineer M. Abu Taher, Members of UAP’s Board of Trustees; Barrister Mohammad Mashiur Rahman Sabuj, CELGAP Chairman; Ms. Mahrukh Mohiuddin, Managing Director of UPL; and Md.
