BUBT Achieves New Milestone in Sustainability Impact Rankings 2026

Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) has achieved significant recognition in international higher education assessment. In the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Rankings 2026, published by the United Kingdom-based education organization, the university secured 10th position among private universities in Bangladesh and 14th position among all public and private universities in the country.

The rankings, released on 23 June 2026, evaluated 1,646 universities from 116 countries and territories worldwide. BUBT is also placed in the global overall ranking band of 1001–1500. This achievement further strengthens the university’s growing position in the global higher education landscape.

In addition, BUBT has demonstrated strong performance across multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The university achieved 4th position among private universities in SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 1 (No Poverty), while securing 6th position in SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). These achievements reflect BUBT’s meaningful contributions to sustainability through education, research, innovation, and social responsibility.

The accomplishment highlights the university’s continued commitment to academic excellence, research advancement, innovation, and sustainable development. It also reinforces BUBT’s growing national and international reputation as a forward-looking institution of higher education.
