EEE Fest 3.0 Begins at NUB with Colorful Inauguration
The much-awaited EEE Fest 3.0, organised by the NUB EEE Club, got underway on 11 December at Northern University Bangladesh’s permanent campus. The two-day event began with a grand inauguration ceremony at 11:00 am in Room 105 and the courtyard.
Chief Guest Prof Dr Md Mizanur Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of NUB, inaugurated the fest. Special Guests were Prof Dr Md Mustafizur Rahman, Treasurer and Dean of the Faculty of Science & Engineering, and Cdr Md Mostafa Shahid (Retd), Registrar. The session was chaired by Prof Dr Md Mizanur Rahman, Head of the Department of EEE.
Members of the NUB EEE Club welcomed the dignitaries with floral tributes, setting a warm and celebratory tone.
In their speeches, the guests shared motivational messages. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Mizanur Rahman stressed the crucial role of engineers in nation-building and beyond. He said engineers are not merely creators of technology but future leaders who can steer society through innovation and resilience.
The fest was formally launched with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, cake-sharing, and the release of pigeons symbolising peace and fresh beginnings. Faculty members from the EEE Department and enthusiastic students joined the festivities, creating a lively atmosphere.
The successful inauguration has set an inspiring tone for the two-day EEE Fest 3.0, fostering unity, creativity, and celebration among participants.
