Madrasa Directorate reveals date for releasing Eid bonus checks
The Directorate of Madrasa Education has shared positive news regarding the Eid-ul-Adha bonus for teachers and employees of MPO-affiliated private madrasas, following the disbursement of April salaries. The checks for the Eid bonus are expected to be released next Sunday (May 17).
An official from the Directorate, speaking to The Daily Campus on condition of anonymity, stated, "The file for the Eid bonus of madrasa teachers and employees is currently with the Technical and Madrasa Education Division of the Ministry of Education. The official order for the check release is expected today, and the checks will be sent to the Bangladesh Bank next Sunday. After receiving confirmation from the bank, the checks will be formally released by Monday or Tuesday, and the teachers and employees will be notified via the official website."
It is noteworthy that there are 8,229 MPO-affiliated madrasas in the country. Among these, there are 5,767 Dakhil-level, 1,285 Alim-level, 993 Fazil-level, and 184 Kamil-level madrasas. Approximately 120,000 teachers and employees are currently working in these institutions.
