March Salary Cheques Released for Madrasa Teachers – Withdrawal from April 6
The cheques for the March salary of MPO-enlisted teachers and employees working in private madrasas have been released. Teachers and employees will be able to withdraw the government portion of their salary and allowances from banks starting April 6.
This information was announced in an official notice issued on Thursday (April 2) by Dr. K.M. Shafiqul Islam, Deputy Director (Finance) of the Directorate of Madrasha Education.
The notice states: “Four cheques for the government portion of the March/2026 salary and allowances for teachers and employees of private educational institutions (madrasas) under the Madrasa Education Department have been handed over to Agrani Bank Limited and Rupali Bank Limited (Head Offices), and Janata Bank Limited and Sonali Bank Limited (Local Offices). The government portion of the March/2026 salary and allowances can be withdrawn from the respective banks after April 5.”
