Commerce Stream to be Introduced in Madrasas; Key Subjects Revealed
The Ministry of Education has initiated a move to introduce the Commerce stream within the country’s madrasa education system. Initially, four core subjects are expected to be launched under this new department. The preliminary decision was taken during a meeting held at the Secretariat on Wednesday, April 1.
According to sources from the National Curriculum Committee (NCC) meeting, the proposed Commerce stream in madrasas will likely include four specific subjects. These are Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Management.
Officials concerned stated that the primary goal of this initiative is to develop skilled entrepreneurs with strong moral values. Discussions regarding the introduction of a Commerce department in madrasas had been ongoing for some time, and the plan is now moving toward final implementation.
