The Department of Youth Development has tentatively rescheduled its recruitment examination for Assistant Upazila Youth Development Officer to October 16, with the test set to begin at 3pm on Friday.

The examination was suspended on Saturday following allegations that the question paper had been leaked and circulated on social media before the test. The department announced the new date in a press release issued on Saturday (October 10).

According to the release, all preparations had been completed to hold the preliminary recruitment examination at 11am on Saturday. However, the authorities became aware of reports that the question paper had been leaked on various social media platforms before the examination began, prompting them to suspend the test.

Candidates will be notified of the new examination date and time through SMS, the press release said.

Meanwhile, a five-member investigation committee has been formed to investigate the alleged question leak. An additional secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports will lead the committee.

The committee has been asked to submit its investigation report within three working days. Disciplinary action will be taken against those found responsible after the report is received, the department said.
