50th BCS cadre posts finalised, circular likely this month
The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has yet to fix the publication date for the 50th BCS circular, but it will be announced this month. The number of cadre posts has already been finalised. A BPSC source confirmed the information on Wednesday (19 November).
The source said the special 48th BCS for health cadres and 49th for education cadres were held recently, so the 50th BCS circular was not published at the beginning of November as per the roadmap. However, the commission has decided to issue the notification this month.
The source added that there will be 1,760 cadre posts in the 50th BCS. The number of non-cadre posts is yet to be determined. The commission will soon finalise these details and publish the circular.
When asked about the matter, BPSC Public Relations Officer SM Matiur Rahman told The Daily Campus on Wednesday: "Everyone has confirmed that the 50th BCS circular will be published this month, but the exact date has not been set yet."
