BUTEX Will Lead the Global Textile Sector in the Coming Days: Education Minister

Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr. A. N. M. Ehsanul Hoque Milan expressed his firm optimism that Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) will lead the world in the coming days by modernizing the textile sector and effectively addressing global challenges. He believes that with their merit and innovative capabilities, BUTEX students will secure top positions in developing the country's apparel sector and expanding its footprint in the international arena.

The Education Minister shared this vision as the chief guest at the "4th International Conference on Textile Science and Engineering," organized by the Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) on Saturday (June 20) morning.

During his keynote address, the minister highly praised the institutional role of BUTEX in producing world-class textile engineers. He noted that to effectively tackle shifting global market dynamics, the university must serve as the primary engine of industry modernization. To achieve that strategic milestone, he urged the university administration, faculty, and researchers to further elevate the quality of education and expand institutional research initiatives.
