KUET student dies of stroke while having tea with friends
Rezwanul Haque, a student of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) died of stroke while having tea with friends on campus. He was a 21 batch student of the university's Materials Science and Engineering department.
The incident took place around 11 pm on Monday night at a shop in front of Shahid Smriti Hall. Suddenly he suffered a stroke and collapsed while enjoying tea with friends. He was rushed to nearby Ad-Din Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead. The sudden death of this meritorious student has cast a pall of gloom across the entire campus.
Classmates said Rezwanul was in a cheerful mood during the tea session when he suddenly fell ill. He was immediately taken to the hospital but doctors said he had died before reaching there. According to the doctors' preliminary assumption, his death occurred due to stroke or cardiac arrest.
Rezwanul Haque hailed from Birganj upazela in Dinajpur district. His untimely demise has plunged his family and friends into deep mourning. General students to teachers are expressing grief on social media.
In memory of Rezwanul, KUET administration has declared all academic activities closed today Tuesday. A condolence message issued on behalf of the university authorities prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family. His janaza is scheduled to be held at KUET Central Mosque today after which the body will be handed over to the family.

Meanwhile, expressing grief over Rezwanul Haque's death, KUET administration has decided to keep all academic activities closed today (January 13). An official condolence message has been issued on behalf of the university administration.
The janaza of the deceased will be held at KUET Central Mosque today.
