SSC Reassessment Results Expected by Early August, Says Inter-Education Board

The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has announced that the recheck results for the 2025 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations are expected to be published within the first week of August. Professor SM Kamal Uddin Haider, Convener of the Inter-Education Board Examination Controller Committee, confirmed this to The Daily Campus on Saturday.

Professor Haider stated that, per regulations, recheck results must be published within 30 days of the application period. “Based on this timeline, we aim to release the results in early August,” he said. When asked about the total number of recheck applications, he noted that data from all boards is still being compiled, but over 3 lakh applications have been recorded so far.

In Rajshahi, Professor ANM Mofakhkharul Islam, Chairman of the Rajshahi Education Board, told The Daily Campus that 61,310 students from the board applied for recheck. “We will hold a meeting tomorrow to discuss the result publication and subsequent steps,” he added.

Meanwhile, Professor Dr. Khondoker Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, said the number of applications for the Dhaka Board is still being tabulated. “The application process concluded on Thursday afternoon. We will provide details by Sunday afternoon,” he informed The Daily Campus.

The recheck application process, which began on 11 July and ended at 5 PM on Thursday, 17 July, allowed dissatisfied students to request a review of their answer scripts via Teletalk mobile operator for a fee of BDT 150 per subject. According to board regulations, recheck results are published within 30 days of the initial result announcement, aligning with the projected August timeline.
