The Education Ministry has postponed the demo meeting for the automated transfer software for MPO-listed teachers of private schools and colleges due to another ministry engagement, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) said Tuesday (10 February). The session was set to give final approval; its cancellation renews uncertainty over launching transfers.

A DSHE official told The Daily Campus the ministry postponed the meeting and they will try to hold it right after the election.

NTRCA-recommended teachers previously had no transfer option; they could switch institutions via public circulars. Indexed teachers used notices 1–3, but from notice 4 the ministry halted applications.

After teacher protests, a transfer policy was drafted, but a faction’s court writ, lack of software, and policy revisions stalled implementation.

Even with the revised policy, transfers couldn’t start without the software; the demo was the next step. Its postponement again stalls the process.
