Minister Directs Teletalk to Show Visible Progress in Short Time

Posts and Telecommunications, and Science and Technology Minister Fakir Mahbub Anam has instructed top officials of state-owned mobile operator Teletalk to demonstrate visible improvements in services within a short period.

He made the directive during an exchange of views meeting at Teletalk’s Gulshan office in the capital on Tuesday (24 February). Ministry Adviser Rehan Asif Asad was also present.

The minister said: “We want to become a people-friendly government by quickly implementing the Prime Minister’s promises. We want visible development in Teletalk’s services. The Prime Minister is working to realize his plans and vision for public welfare, and Teletalk must also work accordingly to improve service quality.”

Adviser Rehan Asif Asad added: “Everyone must work unitedly to implement the Prime Minister’s promises in the shortest possible time. The ministry will provide all-out cooperation in this regard.”

During the meeting, they reviewed various issues related to the company’s ongoing services, network expansion, digital service development, and customer service improvement.

Secretary of the Posts and Telecommunications Division Abdun Naser Khan, Teletalk Managing Director Nurul Mabud Chowdhury, and other senior officials attended the meeting.
