The routine for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations has been officially released. The Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board published the schedule on Wednesday. The routine was issued under the signature of the newly appointed Controller of Examinations of the Dhaka Board, Professor SM Kamal Uddin Haider.
According to the special instructions provided in the routine, candidates must take their seats in the examination hall at least 30 (thirty) minutes before the start of the exam. The Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) section will be held first, followed by the Creative/Descriptive (Theoretical) section.
For subjects with 30-mark MCQs, the allotted time is 30 minutes, and for 70-mark Creative Questions (CQ), the time is 2 hours and 30 minutes. In subjects involving practicals, 25 minutes are allotted for 25-mark MCQs, and 2 hours and 35 minutes for 50-mark CQs. The examinations will proceed without any break between the MCQ and CQ sections for the duration specified on the question paper.
