HSC and Equivalent Examinations to Begin on 7 June
The Inter-Education Coordination Board has taken a preliminary decision to start this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations from 7 June. A formal notification will be issued after final approval from Education and Primary & Mass Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon.
The decision was made at a meeting of education board chairmen held on Sunday (29 March) afternoon at the conference room of the Secondary and Higher Education Division under the Education Ministry. A board chairman present at the meeting confirmed the information to The Daily Campus on condition of anonymity.
The chairman said: “The HSC examination time is approaching. A meeting was held yesterday to fix a starting date for the examination. It was preliminarily decided in the meeting to hold the examination from 7 June.”
He added: “The Education Minister was not present at yesterday’s meeting due to the parliamentary session. Once he gives approval, the HSC and equivalent examinations will begin from 7 June.”
