Following the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) hailed the development as a landmark triumph for student activism, declaring "long live student power" in an official statement released on Saturday.

The student organization shared a copy of Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation letter across social media platforms, describing his departure as a direct result of the relentless month-long demonstrations organized at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.

In its statement, the CJP emphasized that the resignation marks a key milestone for the student movement, which had made the removal of the Education Minister a non-negotiable prerequisite for further talks with the central government. The announcement comes shortly after Pradhan submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of scheduled negotiations.
