DUET Admission Test Held Today for 750 Seats
The undergraduate admission test for the 2025–26 academic session in BSc Engineering and Bachelor of Architecture programs at Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), Gazipur, is taking place today, Sunday (August 2). The first shift of the examination commenced at 9:30 AM on the university’s campus.
Around nine candidates are competing for each available seat in this year's admission drive. The morning session covers exams for the Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering, and Materials and Metallurgical Engineering departments.
The second shift, scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM on the same day, will host examinations for Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Textile Engineering, Architecture, Chemical Engineering, and Food Engineering departments.
A total of 6,423 candidates holding Diploma in Engineering qualifications from various public and private polytechnic institutes across the country are appearing for the admission test against 750 seats across 10 departments this year.
