The undergraduate first-year admission process for the 2025–26 academic session at Dhaka Central University has received a massive response, with 13,675 applications submitted within the first two days. The applications were registered up until 8:30 PM on Friday (June 12), according to sources within the university.
Online application portals opened on Wednesday (June 10) for the newly established Dhaka Central University, which comprises the seven government colleges of the capital. The application window is scheduled to remain open until June 20.
Admission Timeline and Class Commencement
According to the official admission notification, eligible candidates can begin downloading their admission test admit cards from July 5. Following the completion of the entry examinations, regular academic classes for the freshers are scheduled to commence on September 6.
The university has invited applications for the 4-year bachelor's (honors) degree programs across various departments divided into three distinct units: Arts, Social Sciences, Science, and Business Studies.
