Dhaka Central University Opens Honours Admission Applications

Dhaka Central University (DCU) has invited eligible candidates to apply for placement across various departments under the arts, social sciences, science, and business studies units for the 4-year bachelor's degree honors programs for the 2025-2026 academic session. The centralized admission process will govern enrollment for the seven prominent affiliated government colleges in the capital city.

These institutions comprise Dhaka College, Eden Mohila College, Government Titumir College, Government Bangla College, Begum Badrunnesa Government Women's College, Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, and Kabi Nazrul Government College.

According to a university source, the online application window is scheduled to open on June 10, 2026, at 12:00 PM. Aspiring candidates must complete their digital registration via the official university portal at www.dcu.ac.bd before the portal closes on June 20, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Applicants are required to clear a non-refundable admission examination processing fee of 800 BDT. Detailed structural guidelines regarding authorized electronic payment gateways and transaction verification methods will be accessible on the university's primary web portal.

The admission framework splits academic offerings into three primary testing brackets: the Arts and Social Sciences Unit, the Science Unit, and the Business Studies Unit. Prospective undergraduates can submit applications for any of these structural units, provided they successfully meet the specific unit-wise prerequisite criteria detailed in the institutional admission guidelines.

The contractual registrar of Dhaka Central University, Md. Shahidur Rahman, noted that the detailed schedules and institutional seat plans for the physical admission tests will be broadcast via subsequent press updates. However, the university has finalized that candidates can formally download their mandatory examination admit cards from the portal starting July 5, 2026.

Seat arrangements for the Arts and Social Sciences Unit will be visible on the portal from July 8, 2026, while the configuration for the Science and Business Studies units will go live on July 14, 2026.
