NU to Release Second Merit List for Honors Admission After Eid

The National University (NU) is set to release the second merit list for the 2025-26 academic year undergraduate (Honors) admissions following the completion of the first phase of enrollment. Dr. Md. Ashek Kabir Chowdhury, Dean of the School of Undergraduate Studies, confirmed that the university aims to initiate the next phase before the upcoming Eid holidays.

The online final admission form completion for students placed in the first merit list commenced on Tuesday (May 5) and will continue until May 17.

According to the official notification, students who secured a position in the first merit list must follow the timeline below to secure their admission:

  • Online Final Form Completion: May 5 to June 17 (via the university admission website).

  • Registration Fee Submission: Students must deposit 1,130 BDT to their respective colleges between May 6 and May 18.

  • College Confirmation: Respective colleges must confirm the final admission of students between May 6 and May 19.

Dr. Md. Ashek Kabir Chowdhury advised students to download their forms by May 17 and contact their colleges promptly. "Once the admission process for the first merit list is finalized, we will publish the second merit list," he told The Daily Campus.

Admission Guidelines

To complete the final admission form, students are instructed to:

  1. Visit the NU admission website.

  2. Access the 'Applicant Login' option and navigate to 'Honours Login'.

  3. Enter the correct Application ID and PIN to fill out the form and download the PDF/print copy.

The results of the 2025-26 admission test, published last Sunday, showed a pass rate of 80.36%. Only those who passed and were placed in the first merit list are eligible for this current phase. Students who do not complete the process within the stipulated time may lose their primary selection.
