The first-year undergraduate Honors admission test for the 2025-2026 academic session at National University has been successfully conducted today, Saturday, April 25. The exam took place simultaneously in 138 selected centers across divisional and district towns from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This year’s admission process saw a significant turnout as students competed for seats in the Business Studies Unit under a newly structured examination format.

The Business Studies Unit examination was held through a 100-mark Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format with a duration of one hour. The question paper was designed to evaluate the candidates' proficiency in core commercial subjects alongside language skills. The marks distribution included 20 marks for Bangla, 20 marks for English, and 20 marks for General Knowledge. The largest portion of the exam, totaling 40 marks, was dedicated to group-specific subjects such as Accounting, Business Organization and Management, and Finance or Marketing.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A.S.M. Amanullah shared during a press conference that a total of 475,432 students had initially applied for the admission test this year. Out of these, 453,148 candidates confirmed their applications, and as of the evening of April 23, admit cards were issued to 433,519 examinees. The competition remains intense, with approximately two candidates vying for every available seat across government and private colleges.

To qualify for the merit list, candidates are required to score a minimum of 35 marks out of 100. Similar to the other units, no negative marking was applied for incorrect answers. The final merit list will be prepared based on a total of 200 marks, combining the admission test score with weighted scores from SSC and HSC results. The university authorities aim to publish the results and the primary merit list in the shortest possible time through the official admission portal.

Candidates can find the detailed question paper and solutions for the Business Studies Unit on The Daily Campus website soon to assess their performance.
