DU Updates on Expected Science Unit Result Timeline
The results of the Science Unit (Ka Unit) undergraduate admission test for the 2025–2026 academic session at Dhaka University (DU) are set to be released within this week. While the exact date has not been finalized, sources within the university's online admission committee confirmed today that the evaluation process is in its final stages.
The announcement comes as a relief to the 114,114 candidates who participated in the highly competitive exam held on December 27, 2025.
Final Stages of Evaluation
Speaking to The Daily Campus, Professor Dr. Md. Enamul Huq, Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences and Coordinator of the Science Unit, stated that the results are being prepared with the utmost care. "The work is nearly finished. We hope to publish the results as soon as possible, likely by the end of this month," he added.
According to the Online Admission Committee, once the final data is submitted to them, it typically takes 24 to 48 hours to upload the results to the server and activate the SMS system.
The Competition: 60 Candidates per Seat

The exam was conducted simultaneously across eight divisional cities to reduce travel burdens for students. The divisional centers included Rajshahi, Chittagong, Barisal, Khulna, Sylhet, Mymensingh, and Rangpur.
How to Check DU Science Unit Results
Once published, students can check their results through two official methods:

Online Portal: Visit admission.eis.du.ac.bd and log in using your HSC Roll, Passing Year, and Board.

SMS Service: Send an SMS from any mobile operator (Teletalk preferred) using the following format:
DU SCI <Roll Number> and send it to 16321.
Background on Rescheduling
It is noteworthy that the Science Unit exam was originally scheduled for December 20, 2025. However, it was postponed to December 27 due to a day of national mourning following the death of Sharif Osman Hadi, a former DU student and potential MP candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency.
With the Arts, Law, and Social Science Unit (B Unit) results already published on January 20, the Science Unit is the last major unit to release its merit list this month.
