RU Unit ‘A’ first shift admission test concluded, see the question paper here

The undergraduate admission test for 'Unit A' (Humanities) at Rajshahi University (RU) for the 2025–26 academic session is underway today (January 17). The first shift of the examination, which began at 11:00 AM, concluded at 12:00 PM.

Aspirants are facing a highly competitive environment this year, with an average of 59 candidates vying for each available seat in this unit. Following the morning session, the second shift is scheduled to be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Unit ‘A’ is one of the most significant units at Rajshahi University, encompassing the prestigious Department of Law along with 26 other departments under the faculties of Arts, Law, Social Sciences, Fine Arts, and the Institute of Education and Research (IER).

This unit offers the highest number of seats compared to others, providing opportunities for students from Humanities, Science, and Business Studies backgrounds to compete.

Seat and Application Statistics:

• Total Seats: 1,897 (including 25 newly added seats this year).

• Total Applicants (All Units): 2,72,625.

• Unit ‘A’ Applicants: 1,11,514.

• Competition Ratio: 59 candidates per seat.
