DU Arts, Law, and Social Science Unit results likely this week
The results of the first-year undergraduate admission tests for the Arts, Law, and Social Science Unit at Dhaka University (DU) for the 2025–26 academic session are expected to be released by the end of this week.
Professor Dr. Taiyebur Rahman, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Unit Coordinator, confirmed the development to The Daily Campus on Saturday (January 17).
"The processing of the admission test results is in its final stages. We expect to hand over the data to the Online Admission Committee within the next two to three days. Hopefully, the results will be published by the end of this week," Professor Rahman said.
A senior official from the Online Admission Committee echoed this timeline, stating, "From what we have gathered, the results are nearly ready. Once the Dean’s office provides us with the data, it usually takes about two days to finalize the publication process. We are aiming for a release within this week."
University sources indicated that while the administration initially planned to publish the results within a month of the examination, certain national issues caused a slight delay. The admission test was held peacefully on December 13, with 1,07,701 aspirants competing for 2,934 available seats.
