This year, 5,411 students applied for the 50 seats in the IBA-JU Unit, resulting in approximately 108 aspirants competing for each seat.
The highest number of applications was recorded in the ‘D’ Unit under the Faculty of Biological Sciences, where 70,220 students applied against 310 seats. The ‘D’ Unit examination was conducted over two days in a total of nine shifts — four shifts for male students and five shifts for female students — with a total of 70,221 students participating.
The JU admission test began on 21 December with the ‘C’ Unit. Today’s examination covered the IBA-JU Unit and part of the ‘A’ Unit (Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences). The remaining part of the ‘A’ Unit will be held tomorrow Monday (29 December).
