Jagannath University ‘C’ Unit admission test today, 40 aspirants compete per seat
The admission test for ‘C’ Unit (Faculty of Business Studies) of the 2025-26 academic session at Jagannath University (JnU) is being held today Saturday (27 December).
The one-hour test will take place from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon.
According to the university’s Dean and examination committee sources, 20,537 candidates have applied against 520 seats in the ‘C’ Unit. This means 40 aspirants are competing for each seat.
Besides Jagannath University, the test will also be conducted at three other centres in Dhaka: Banglabazar Government Girls’ High School, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, and Government Muslim High School. No centres have been set up outside Dhaka.
The 100-mark examination includes 72 marks for multiple-choice questions (MCQ), while the remaining 18 marks will be based on SSC (or equivalent) and HSC (or equivalent) results.
Questions will be set from English, Mathematical Intelligence and Accounting Science, and Business Principles and Application.
Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies Professor Dr Muhammad Manzoor Morshed Bhuiyan said: “Against our 520 seats, 20,537 candidates have applied. Apart from Jagannath University, the test will be held at three other centres in Dhaka. No centres have been arranged outside the capital.”
