How to Check Medical, Dental Admission Test Results for 2025-26
The results of the admission test for government and private medical and dental colleges for the 2025-26 academic year are expected to be published today, Sunday (December 14).
Additional Director General (Medical Education) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Professor Dr Rubina Yasmin said the results could be released around noon.
Students will be able to check their results online.
Speaking to The Daily Campus on Sunday morning (December 13), Professor Dr Rubina Yasmin said, "The exact time for publishing the medical and dental admission test results has not yet been finalised. However, we hope to release them by noon. Once published, it will be announced on the website, and successful candidates will be notified."
How to Check the Results
According to the admission circular, the entire process — from application processing, verification, answer sheet evaluation, result finalisation to re-scrutiny — will be conducted digitally. Answer sheets will be evaluated using OMR or ICR machines.
Seats in government medical and dental colleges and units, both general and reserved, will be allocated based on national merit and candidates' preferences. For reserved seats, selection will be merit-based from among eligible claimants in respective categories.
Admission to specific colleges will be determined automatically based on the candidate's merit position and college preferences.
Students can access the results on the DGME website at www.dgme.gov.bd, as well as on the DGHS websites at www.dghs.gov.bd and https://result.dghs.gov.bd/.
To view the results on the DGHS website, candidates should visit the site, click on the 'MBBS Result 2025-2026' link, enter their admission test roll number, and click the 'Result' button. Successful candidates can download the result or take a screenshot.
The merit list will also be published in PDF format on the website.
Earlier on Saturday afternoon (December 13), DGHS Director General Professor Dr Nazmul Hossain told The Daily Campus that the result preparation was underway in coordination with the computer science departments of BUET and Dhaka University. "A lot of answer sheets need to be processed. We are optimistic about publishing the results after noon on Sunday," he said.
The MBBS and BDS admission test for the 2025-26 session was held simultaneously on Friday (December 12) from 10:00 am to 11:15 am across 17 centres and 49 venues nationwide.
