Fire Breaks Out at Green Life Hospital in Dhaka

A fire broke out at Green Life Hospital in the capital’s Green Road area. Smoke was seen billowing from the 6th and 7th floors of the hospital, confirming the incident.
The Fire Service received the alert at around 11:42 AM on Wednesday (8 April). Two units of the Fire Service rushed to the spot and immediately began efforts to bring the fire under control.
Duty Officer of the Fire Service, Rafi Al Faruk, said: “Smoke has been seen on the 6th and 7th floors of Green Life Hospital. Our two units are working there.”
However, the cause of the fire and the extent of damage are yet to be known.
