Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has instructed the Education Minister to explore alternative measures to ease traffic congestion in the capital during school hours.

He gave an example: “It has been observed that in front of one school in the capital, around 100 cars gather for only 150 students. This creates massive traffic congestion. Students face difficulties reaching their institutions. The Prime Minister has advised the minister to address these problems and find alternatives.”

The Additional Press Secretary also mentioned that after the Education Minister, Fuel Minister Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku and State Minister Anindya Islam Amit met with the Prime Minister.
