Eid Journey: Advance Train Ticket Sales Start from March 3

Bangladesh Railway has announced the schedule for advance ticket sales for Eid-ul-Fitr. To ensure a comfortable journey for home-bound passengers, online advance ticket sales will begin from March 3.
The railway authority confirmed this on Tuesday (24 February).
According to the announcement, advance ticket sales for Eid-ul-Fitr will start on March 3. This year, 5 pairs (10 special trains) will be added to handle the extra rush.
Railway officials also stated that tickets will continue to be sold in two phases:
- Tickets for all intercity trains operating in the western zone will go on sale in the morning.
- Tickets for trains in the eastern zone will be available in the afternoon.
