A terrible fire incident has occurred in a market in Chawk Bazar area of Chattogram. On Thursday (18 December) around 10:15 am, the fire broke out in the two-storey market in Talpotti area of Chawk Bazar.
According to Fire Service sources, the fire started around 10:15 am in the two-storey market in Talpotti area of Chawk Bazar. At that time, the surroundings were covered in smoke. Locals initially tried to extinguish the fire.
Later, two units of Fire Service arrived at the spot and brought the fire under control after half an hour's effort. However, it is assumed that the fire spread from a pile of garbage nearby. Several shops' furniture were burnt in this. However, no casualties occurred.
