Education minister inspects press to check NCTB textbook quality
Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon made an unannounced visit to Farazi Press and Publications in Daudkandi, Cumilla, on Tuesday to inspect the quality and progress of textbook printing for the new academic year.
During the visit, the minister observed the printing process and spoke with officials involved in the work. He inspected the quality of the books and reviewed the overall progress of the printing process at the press.
Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon stressed maintaining the required standards throughout the printing process so that students receive quality textbooks on time. He also gave necessary instructions to those involved to ensure the quality of the printed books.
The minister said those responsible for supplying substandard textbooks would face exemplary punishment.
Director General of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education Prof Dr Khan Moinuddin Al Mahmud Sohel and senior officials from the ministry were present during the inspection.
