Education Ministry-NTRCA Meeting Rescheduled to Today; 9th Teacher Recruitment Tops Agenda

The crucial policy meeting between the Ministry of Education and the Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) has been rescheduled to take place today, Monday (August 3), instead of Tuesday (August 4). Discussions surrounding the upcoming 9th Teacher Recruitment circular have been placed as the primary item on the meeting's agenda.

According to NTRCA sources on Monday, the meeting will address several ongoing recruitment and administrative issues. The top agenda item is the execution of the 9th Teacher Recruitment circular. The second item focuses on candidates deprived of recommendations under the 18th Teacher Registration, while the third agenda item involves general grievances and matters concerning 18th registration certificate holders.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, an NTRCA official told The Daily Campus, "The meeting is scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM. The specific directives and decisions will become clear once the session concludes."

Earlier on Sunday (August 2), a notice signed by Shireen Akhtar, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division under the Ministry of Education, confirmed the convening of the meeting.

The meeting will be chaired by Abdul Khaleq, Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division, with Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milan attending the proceedings. All concerned officials have been directed to be present at the session.
