Education State Minister Assigned New Responsibilities

The government has redistributed portfolios among eight State Ministers (Deputy Ministers). This reshuffle was announced through a gazette notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday (4 March).
According to the notification, Bobby Hajjaj, who previously held responsibility for both the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, has now been assigned exclusively to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.
Other changes include:
- Md. Sharif Alam, previously handling Commerce, Industries, and Textiles & Jute, has been assigned to the Ministry of Textiles and Jute.
- Sultan Salauddin Tuku, who earlier oversaw Agriculture, Fisheries & Livestock, and Food, has been given charge of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock.
- Habibur Rashid has been assigned to the Ministry of Railways and the Roads and Highways Division under the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges.
- Md. Rajib Ahsan has been given responsibility for the Ministry of Shipping and the Bridges Division.
- Md. Jonayed Abdur Rahim Saki, who initially held Finance and Planning, has been assigned to the Ministry of Planning.
- Farzana Sharmin, previously handling Women and Children Affairs along with Social Welfare, has been assigned to the Ministry of Social Welfare.
- Md. Nurul Haque Noor has been given charge of the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment.
The notification further states that the portfolios of the other State Ministers, as mentioned in the gazette dated 17 February, remain unchanged.
