2,684 Teachers & Staff Newly Included in MPO: Region-Wise Distribution

The MPO Committee of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has approved the inclusion of 2,684 newly appointed teachers and staff from various non-government schools and colleges in the Monthly Pay Order (MPO) system.
Of these, 2,195 are from the school level and 489 from the college level.
The decision was taken during the January MPO Committee meeting held on Tuesday at the DSHE office. The meeting was chaired by DSHE Director General Professor BM Abdul Hannan.
Region-Wise Breakdown
School Level (Total: 2,195):
- Barishal: 438
- Chattogram: 60
- Cumilla: 44
- Dhaka: 715
- Khulna: 56
- Mymensingh: 302
- Rajshahi: 330
- Rangpur: 88
- Sylhet: 162
College Level (Total: 489):
- Barishal: 27
- Chattogram: 2
- Cumilla: 5
- Dhaka: 209
- Khulna: 77
- Mymensingh: 10
- Rajshahi: 53
- Rangpur: 93
- Sylhet: 13
The MPO inclusion process will now proceed as per standard procedures, enabling these teachers and staff to start receiving government salary benefits.
