The schedule for the written examination of the Assistant Teacher recruitment in government primary schools and the date for downloading admit cards have been announced.

Candidates can download their admit cards online starting from 10:00 am today Saturday (27 December). The examination will be held on Friday (2 January) from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in the respective districts of the applicants.

The Directorate of Primary Education issued a press notification stating that an SMS with the admit card download link will be sent to the mobile number provided in the application from 01552-146056 at the appropriate time. From 10:00 am today (27 December), candidates can log in to the website using their username and password, or by entering their SSC roll number, board, and passing year, to download and print their admit cards.

Instructions for participation in the examination:

Candidates must bring the colour printout of the downloaded admit card and their original National Identity Card (NID/Smart Card) on the day of the examination. Instructions for filling the OMR sheet and other examination-related information will be available on the admit card.

Important note:

On Friday (26 December) afternoon, the written examination for the post of ‘Accounts Assistant’ under the Directorate of Primary Education was postponed shortly before it began due to allegations of question paper leakage.

Following the postponement of that examination, rumours spread on social media that the Assistant Teacher recruitment examination scheduled for next Friday (2 January) would also be postponed. However, the Directorate of Primary Education issued a notification late that night confirming that the examination for Assistant Teacher recruitment in government primary schools 2025 will be held as scheduled on 2 January from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The notification further states that candidates must enter the examination centre by 9:00 am.

It is strictly prohibited to bring mobile phones, books, answer scripts, notes or any other paper, calculator, vanity bag, purse, wristwatch or any watch-like object, electronic wristwatch, or any type of electronic device or communication device into the examination centre. If any such item is found, the candidate will be immediately expelled and legal action will be taken against them.

The notification also advised candidates to remain cautious of any fraudulent activities by unscrupulous individuals.
