In the upcoming Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) hall parliament election, two candidates face no competitors, ensuring their unopposed victory. Initial reports confirm that one of them is from the Chatra Dal panel.

The two candidates are set to be elected unopposed for secretarial posts in the hall parliament election. Rehena Akter is a candidate for the Outdoor Sports Secretary post from Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall, while Lamia Akter Lima is a candidate for the same post from Shamsun Nahar Hall.

Sources indicate that no student organization other than Chatra Dal fielded a panel for the hall parliament election. Lamia Akter Lima, from Chatra Dal’s panel, is running for the Outdoor Sports Secretary post at Shamsun Nahar Hall.

Confirming the matter, Sheikh Tanvir Bari Hamim, Chatra Dal’s General Secretary (GS) candidate for the DUCSU election, told The Daily Campus that Lamia is being elected unopposed from their panel. He added that Rehena Akter, set to win from Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall, is reportedly a supporter of the Bangladesh Ganatantrik Chatra Sangsad (BGCS).
