DU 54th Convocation Online Applications to Open on November 1 in Four Steps

Online applications for the 54th convocation of the University of Dhaka (DU) will open on November 1 and remain open until 11:59pm on November 30. Graduates and medal recipients wishing to attend must complete the application process in four steps, including payment and other required procedures, within the specified deadlines.

Applicants must visit the university's official convocation website to apply online. The process consists of four steps, with the first step to be completed by 11:59pm on November 30. Applicants must then complete the convocation payment online by 11:59pm on Wednesday, December 2.

The 54th convocation of the University of Dhaka is scheduled to take place on January 26, 2027. President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will preside over the ceremony, while Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has agreed to attend as the guest of honour. Professor Dr Atsushi Sunami, president of Japan's Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF), will deliver the convocation address.

Graduates and medal recipients whose examination results were published or will be published between November 20, 2022, and November 30, 2026, will be eligible to attend the 54th convocation. Applications will open on November 1 and close on November 30.

Results published between October 14 and November 18, 2022, that could not be included in the 53rd convocation in 2022 will also be included in the 54th convocation in 2027. Graduates covered by those results will be eligible to participate in the ceremony.
