Jubo Dal Leader Nayan Seen with Helmet and Pipe Outside Dhaka Alia Madrasah

Central Jubo Dal Joint General Secretary Rabiul Islam Nayan was spotted wearing a safety helmet and carrying a pipe in front of Government Madrasah-e-Alia on Tuesday afternoon, following violent clashes between Chhatra Dal and Chhatra Shibir that spilled into the area.

The incident occurred shortly after 5:00 PM on Tuesday (August 4) at the Dhaka Alia Madrasah intersection. Dressed in a white panjabi, Nayan was seen wearing a helmet and holding a pipe while engaging in direct conversation with police officers deployed at the scene.

According to eyewitness accounts, Nayan addressed the police personnel on duty, stating, "They are opening fire, why aren't you performing your duty? Advance forward, and we will assist you."

The confrontation at Alia Madrasah was a continuation of earlier clashes that erupted at nearby Jagannath University and surrounding educational institutions in Old Dhaka. The area witnessed repeated chases and counter-chases between activists of both student groups, prompting law enforcement personnel to take up positions across key points to bring the situation under control.

No immediate statement or official response was available from Rabiul Islam Nayan regarding his presence at the clash site while armed with a pipe and wearing a helmet.
